1. Definitions
“Goods”: Items you store with us.
“Unit”: The storage space allocated to you.
“Facility”: The premises where the Unit is located.
“Agreement”: The contract between you and us, including these Terms & Conditions.
2. Storage Fees and Payment
Storage fees are payable in advance on the due date specified in your invoice. A £25 administration fee will be charged for each missed payment. If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, we may suspend access and apply the admin fee. Continued non-payment may result in further action as outlined below.
3. Default and Abandonment
If your account remains unpaid for 60 days, we will issue a final notice. After 14 days of no response, we may overlock the unit, inventory your goods, and dispose of or sell them. You remain liable for any unpaid balance and recovery costs.
4. Termination
You may terminate this Agreement by providing 7 days’ written notice. Goods must be removed and the unit left clean. Additional charges may apply for cleaning, disposal, or continued storage if this is not done.
5. Access and Security
Access is permitted only during business hours. We may deny access for non-payment or safety concerns. You are responsible for locking and securing your storage unit.
6. Insurance and Liability
You must insure your goods. We are not liable for loss or damage unless due to proven negligence on our part. We do not cover consequential losses under any circumstances.
7. Prohibited Items
Do not store food, animals, flammable items, illegal substances, or anything emitting fumes or odours. Storing high-value items requires our written consent.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 14 days’ notice. Continued use after notice implies acceptance.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. All disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
